Who is a SUPER WOMAN?
She who struggles her way through school at a very young age;
even when she is being discouraged and rather cajoled by her poverty-stricken
parents to marry the rich chief and become his fifth wife to save the family
from a lifetime of poverty like the sacrificial lamb. Rather, she rebels
against them and fights for her future of being an engineer; writing tests, assignments
and exams for fellow students too rich to bother about their studies to sustain
herself in school.
She who loses a strong pillar at a young age and is left
alone with four little mouths to feed; sacrificing and struggling, day and
night; frying sumptuous bean cakes by the road side to save up for her
children’s education and future. Despite the trials and temptations from
lustful men with luxury cars trying to take advantage of the situation; still, she
retains her dignity and self-respect, not wanting to set a bad example for her
growing daughters.
She who stands strong by her husband when he loses his source
of livelihood for the family and his pride as a man; bringing all her income to
sustain the family, making sure the children and outsiders do not notice. She
keeps up her virtuous ways until he rises on his feet again to take a hold of
his family as the bread-winner once again.
She who finds a lump in her left breast on one of her regular
check-ups; she is determined to live despite the pain she feels. She fights for
her life and goes through treatment to become well again even when the
cancerous breast is cut off. She still lives to testify and tell others of the
battle she won.
She, who is the voice and mouth-piece of the abused, violated,
broken, down-trodden and weak in the society; despite the destructive and
slandering criticism coming from every corner, she stands strong. Even when an
attempt is made on her life; she survives it and bounces back to prove to her
adversaries and detractors that no man can play God in anybody’s life. She is a
fighter.
She is a virtuous woman
She is a strong woman
She is the most beautiful woman on the face of the planet
She is an amazing woman
She is a SUPER WOMAN.
